To Mom:



My area is doing great! We are supposed to have two baptisms this Sunday like I told Dad in his email! We are going to have an activity with the members in like a week so we are preparing and planning for that too! We are also changing how we work a little also. 11-1:30 is pure contacting and tracting until the comida. Then from 3-5 is also contacting then our appointments are from 5-8. It is gonna be really different but it will be good! Elder Johnson (the area authority for all of Mexico) said to President Aangulo that he feels the impression that we in Chihuahua can baptize every week. So that is our goal! Starting with the 28th of November. That is why we have the change, we are working really hard to be able to make this work. But also he said we aren't just doing this to baptize, he said the baptismal interviews are going to be alot more serious and if the person doesn't really seem to have a sincere desire, or testimony then they won't be baptized.



To Dad:

My baptism yesterday was awesome! It was a brother of a member. He is 17 and his name is Manuel Montez. I got to baptize him, but he will be confirmed next week, because we had conferencia de districto este fin de semana. It was awesome to go and listen to the District Presidency Saturday and Sunday, also Presidente Aangulo was there so it was a pleasure to hear from him too! and get a little time to talk with him!



Algo que paso este samana, So we have a guy in our area that has been investigating the Church for 14 years if you can imagine how many sets of missionaries that is. His name is Juan (Juanito) and he is like a Cabellero and he always wears boots and a cowboy hat. Anyway the missionaries lived in a house across from him that he owns and they rented from him for almost 7 years. But we don't anymore. So me and my companion have been really focusing on him this last couple weeks and he committed to be baptized this Sunday! It's so cool! He is awesome! I challenged him to pray about a date (the 14th) on which to be baptized. He said that nobody had ever challenged him to pray about a baptism date but he did and got an answer and so he is going to be baptized this Sunday! Also the other joven Genero accepted the 14th also! So we have some preparing to do!
