Hi Family!

This week went by really fast! It was a really good week! Kinda complicated but it's all good!

My companion woke up and his eye was bothering him really bad on Tuesday. Then in the night it looked like he had pink eye. We couldn't go to the doctor because it was like 8 and so I called Sister Angulo and she told us to go to our house and then to the doctor in the morning. We went to the doctor on Wednesday morning and he told us Elder Whitaker had an infection idk if it was pink eye. We called and told Sister Angulo. She told us that President would call us and sure enough like a minute later he called us and asked what the doctor said. The doctor said that he shouldn't be in the sun or where there is dust for at least two days. President told me to take my companion to the offices. We went home and my companion packed (enough) for two days and we went to the offices.

There was an Elder there that doesn't have an area that was just living without a companion with the other missionaries in the offices. He came with me for two days. It was a great experience. His name is Elder Gonzalez, a different one than the one that was in my district before. We worked alot and it went really good! Right from the start we adapted really well to the teaching of each other (I don't think he meant to say they were teaching each other...more like "adapted to the way we each teach" or something like that...it's that Spanish to English translation....) and we had some really spiritual experiences together. He has been in the offices for like 11 days and doesn't have a companion or an area. He said he was so bored and just wanted to leave so he was glad for the opportunity to come with me. He has about 10 months in the mission. He was actually companions with Elder Moak, my companion from the MTC. Then we went to pick up Elder Whitaker on Friday morning and he was all better. He has to keep taking medicine but he doesn't have the side effects (symptoms) any more.

We're going to have a baptism this week. Her name is Gaby and she is 18. Her mom and her brother are members but they are inactive. She has been coming to church by herself. Sonia couldn't come this week again because her daughter had some activity that she had to go to. We also found some inactive families and visited them this week and they came to church too! The chapel was almost full and we usually only fill like 3/4ths of it so that was really cool to see some work pay off!

Now that we are in the 6th week of the cycle (transfers) my head is kinda going crazy that they will most likely transfer me. But now I don't wanna leave after so much time here haha! But I'll go wherever the Lord needs me.

I'm glad that everyone is doing good and that all have been enjoying their vacations, or work or whatever they're doing!

I'll let you know when I get my package. We got a lot of rain this week! It's been really nice but when the sun leaves from behind the clouds it gets really humid. Thanks for everything!
